Sketches

Holiday sketches. First two were done while Julian played piano for me.
Not sure where the rest belongs.

Why don't I take the time to draw more often? It feels so refreshing.

Busy life.

Projects and Assignments

Sketches for acting class

I've been taking a class at TD-U.com and so far we've completed one project. The results are not the greatest, though I have written down corrections that I will do once my semester is done (at both Dawson and TD-U). I don't feel very proud of it (at all) but I think sometimes we win some and we lose some. It was my first experience with Arnold at home.

On a side note: I've been playing piano and having fun with my camera. So much to learn; it's wonderful.

WIP - Final Film

More preprod. WIP.

I think what's most exciting and motivating in all of this is seeing things come together and having this idea that has been thrown around in my head slowly turn into real assets and a concrete story.

Fun Stuff in AE

Here are a few fun assignments that were created for the purpose of learning different tools in AE. I think I still prefer using Nuke, but it's still nice to get familiar with new tools. :)

Summer Doodles

Summer has been good to me, though, it is almost Fall. My final year of college approaches quickly. I am gradually developing ideas for an animated film that I'll be creating during my last months of study (though, I believe we continue learning and growing during our entire lifetimes); however, I've yet to create something I believe is worth sharing just yet. Here is a summary of personal work I have done the past two months.

Project Tanuki!

For the past few months I have had the luxury of working on a video game project entitled Tanuki Project directed by Evan Gruntz with a small talented team.

Bus Sketches

Some random sketches I do on the bus when I feel like I need a break.
Some of this probably isn't worth much, however, I still feel like sharing. ^^
I spent around one hour and fifty minutes in the morning and at night, and this is partially how I spend my time.
The majority of the time I create assets for a video game project I am working on and on my final project for next year.

Story About a Bunny and a Caveman

A short animatic of a story about a bunny and a caveman. :)
